The Winner Stands Alone by Paulo Coelho (Book Review)
I’ve just finished reading The Winner Stands Alone. A great book indeed contain messages. its very informative , though the ending was predicted but i don`t like and Yes... Savoy knew who the killer was and yet made no attempt to arrest him. Why?
Paulo Coelho paints an engrossing picture of a world overrun by glamour and excess, and shows us the possibly dire consequences of our obsession with fame. meanwhile awesome, technical detail on the weapon...
The plot revolved around Igor, a millionaire who is bent to get back his ex-wife who's now married to another man, and he would do anything to get her. And then, there are Hamid, the designer, Jasmine, a model who made it to the top, Gabriella... Igor remains stranger in whole novel.
I am one of Paulo's biggest fans, and I take his work very seriously, and trust me, I had been looking forward to this book for the past 6 months... but i`am disappointed
